Over the past few years SIRE has held a traditional wine pull or raffle at our gala. This year, in honor of our Rootin’ Tootin’ Crap Shootin’ Wild West Casino Night we are having a “Build a Saloon” raffle instead.
Here’s how it works: For just $100 you get a chance to win a saloon and stock your cabinets in one evening. The grand prize winner will take home 100 items that are sure to please any cowboy or cowgirl! Only 100 chances to be your own sheriff of this collection of fine spirits and more!
Tickets will be sold at the Marriott at the event. The winner will be announced after the live auction. If the winner is not present there will be an additional $25 delivery fee charged with delivery available only in the Houston area.
We are still collecting items for the “Build a Saloon” raffle. If you would like to donate, please drop by SIRE with your donation or call or email Natalie DeJong at ndejong@sire-htec.org or (281) 356-7588, x202.
Gala Chair and SIRE Board President Sabrina Shumsky can’t wait until February,
“We are excited about our first big event of 2015. This year we have moved from our traditional galas of the past and are offering our supporters and the Houston community something different with an interactive and entertaining Casino Night. The committee has come up with so many activities for this Wild West Casino Night there will be something for everyone from the obvious Casino events to gold panning, silent auction, photo booth, pony races and more plus an amazing opportunity to take home your own saloon which is a fun deviation from the Build a Cellar idea we created 2 years ago. The energy corridor is also a new location for us and should prove to be convenient for all of our guests. It will be a great evening for those in attendance and provide a fun and wonderful way for the terrific Houston community to give to such an effective an amazing cause as SIRE, an organization I am proud to be a part of and get to witness make an impact to hundreds of individuals with special needs on a daily basis.”
