CGG Veritas “Saddle Up for SIRE” RideAThon is only 2 weeks away! Register now!
This post is just a short shout-out to all of SIRE’s friends who are considering riding with us for the CGG Veritas “Saddle Up for SIRE: 19th Annual RideAThon on October 8, 2011. Conditions are favorable for the ride at 7IL Trails, with the recent gentle rains doing much to improve the drought conditions that have all of us concerned.
For those of you who have wondered, our Waller County/Hockley site fared well in last week’s devastating fires. We evacuated the horses to our Spring site, and we joke that it was like a gigantic horsey sleep-over! Everyone is back home now, safe and sound. The staff at our Hockley site was literally locked out of work, as roads in the area were shut down leaving people unable to navigate through the countryside.
Everything seems to have returned to normal, and we are planning our best ever trail RideAThon. We hope to see you there!
