Message from Lili

Dear SIRE staff:

It’s been a great pleasure to work with you. The energy, talent, insight and personalities that you all bring to the table are incredible. SIRE is so fortunate to have such a great team and I will certainly miss you. … Keep up the great work that you do for our clients, and thanks for everything.

Fondly, Lili

New Director of Development

Last month our previous Director of Development, Tara Wuthrich, told us, “I could not give both [my family and SIRE] 100 percent and I just didn’t think it was fair to SIRE to do the job halfway.” Though Tara’s family obligations prevented her from staying on as Director of Development, Andrea Vickers has ably stepped right into the position.

I am very excited to be a part of the SIRE family. My first week has been a whirlwind of excitement.

As a quick ‘get to know me’: I have been married 15 years to my wonderful husband Brian. We have two amazing children Emma (8) and Gary (5) and two four legged children Boa and Izzy. I fell in love with getting people to ‘give me stuff for free’ to help out a good cause 7 years ago. That small spark turned into a big obsession as I realized the power of the smallest of donations to the great impact of a large donor. I have been working with a variety of non-profits both professionally and on a volunteer basis in all capacities of fundraising, charitable giving, and grant writing ever since.

As a former teacher, I have a special place in my heart for children with special needs and have had the privilege of working with Special Olympics fundraising events in years past. Since joining with SIRE to work on last year’s gala, I am in awe of the amazing work that what we do and as the wife of a veteran, I am eternally grateful for the programs you offer those injured while serving our country.

The more I read, the more I listen to the people I meet, the more excited I become to help SIRE and all of our programs grow and prosper.
